Demystifying the Building Process

Building your dream home is an exciting journey, but we understand it can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why we are committed to making the process as straightforward as possible for you.

While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to building a house, here’s what the process might look like when purchasing a section directly from Silverstream.

Step 1

Explore your options & choose a section

Start by exploring your options with a mortgage broker or your bank and apply for loan pre-approval. Then, visit the Silverstream Sales Office to discover section options and put your chosen section on hold.

Step 2

Find your building company

To find your dream home, you can either visit our preferred builders in our showhome village or feel free to explore showhomes elsewhere to investigate different building companies. Remember, take your time to find the right builder! We encourage you to do your research and visit them in person to ensure you have a good rapport. Relationships are key when building your home.

Step 3

Enter into a sales & purchase agreement

When you’re ready to proceed, engage a property lawyer to assist you in entering a Sales & Purchase Agreement with Silverstream for your section. Your lawyer will help you obtain any necessary reports for the land you are purchasing.
